Tinder Poem

March 27, 2018

I've been afraid for a good amount of time

My thoughts in chaos without a reason or a rhyme

But word by word and line by line
I've made my mind
Now I know
Falling hard this time I chose

Blocks and cinders, guitar set on my knee

Poems and tinders, responsibilities

Ironically they set me free

I've made my mind

Now I know
Falling hard this time I chose

The Esty-Besty spider went up the water spout

Down came the rain and she went to work at the organic health food store

Out came the sun and then there was a cool coloured shirt and a little Tim Horton's mug on a dock by a lake with a person holding a camera taking a photo of another person holding a camera so

The Esty-Besty spider went up that spout

Love's like inertia and work is like a push

Creativity's a dirt cold snowballing up the earth

Word by word, line by line, book by book, and time after time
I've made my mind
Now I know

Falling hard this time I chose
